Sultana has, for several years, been passionate about cooking hearty, flavoursome Indian food for her family and friends. After an illustrious career that spanned over twenty five years in the Department of Commercial Taxes—Govt. of Karnataka, Sultana opted for VRS and turned her attention to further exploring her interest in cooking. She began experimenting with seasonings and traditional cooking techniques to get the taste of her dishes ‘just right’.

As Sultana began to expand her repertoire in the kitchen and consider starting a home business, she realised that there was a gap in the market for the kind of food she cooked at home - traditional Indian cuisine that was free from artificial food flavouring and colours, “cheap substitute” ingredients (eg. adding extra fat from meat instead of using ghee) and that relied on old-fashioned, cooking techniques to truly bring out the flavour of heritage recipes.
She sources her ingredients from only the best - whether it’s black pepper directly from growers in Kerala, saffron from Kashmir or using only the finest quality meat, there is simply NO cutting corners when it comes to quality, flavour and authenticity.
